10 v 14-15 But before people can ask the Lord for help, they must believe in him; and before they can believe in him, they must hear about him; and for them to hear about the Lord, someone must tell them; and before someone can go and tell them, that person must be sent. It is written, "How beautiful is the person who comes to bring good news." |
I think that the interesting thing about people who are 'just looking' is that they want to know more....not necessarily about Jesus, but about us - what has happened to us to make us love our Lord so much. They never tire of hearing personal stories, and can relate themselves to our problems, hardships, struggles etc and the way we have coped with the help and love of Jesus. THEN they ask about Jesus and how they can get to know him. This first step is so very important, and it is up to us to tell our stories. It may just be a little something that has helped you know that Jesus is there for you. It doesn't have to be major!
