The x factor

What is it in life that gives it the x factor?
Is it talent?
Is it good looks?
Is it fame?
Is it money?
Could it be peace?
I don't mean freedom from war, although that would be good. I don't mean 'peace at any price', that brings it's own problems. I mean a peace inside that is not easily disturbed and helps you to cope with all the horrors around you.

I found that peace, I didn't know I was looking for it, I was chasing something else.
I knew I wanted answers to a lot of questions.
I knew I wanted to get married and have children.
I knew I wanted to get to the bottom of what was so different about one of the guys in our choir.

All these things came to me rolled in one bundle, and in the middle of it were a few surprises.

The guy in the choir had loads of good answers, and a few surprises.
The guy in the choir also wanted to get married and have children.
The guy in the choir was different because he had a relationship with Jesus, and the other surprise was that Jesus wanted to have a relationship with me. And with it came a bonus. PEACE. A peace that has never left me, a peace that stayed with me when my special guy was killed in a road accident, a peace that is reassuring when the world around is in a mess, a peace that also assures me that the relationship I have with Jesus will never come to an end.

So, I shall then get the rest of my questions answered.
I shall meet my special guy again.
I shall get a new body that is alive and kicking, yes please.
I shall get more surprises, 'cos believe me God is full of them. Try Him out for yourself; He will never let you down either.
