Watch out for the Easter Light celebration on the 7th April. It will be similar to last year but without a barbecue - food will be cooked indoors instead. There will be the fire pits and fireworks.

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) will take place after a shortened service on 22nd April. Please try to attend. This is a chance for you to express your views and find out what your PCC has been doing.

On Sundays there is a service at 10.30am.
The service differs in style and content, depending on the day of the month.

1st Sunday - Communion.
This is where we remember that Jesus spent his last evening with his disciples, having supper together. As part of the supper He explained to them that the bread was a symbol of His body and the wine a symbol of His blood. We still take the bread and wine as these symbols. If you prefer, the Vicar will pray a blessing for you.

2nd, 4th & 5th Sundays - Family Worship.
We worship together as a church family.
This is a modern worship service.

3rd Sunday - This is a short service.
All worship together in church, for the whole service.
This service lasts about 1 hour.

In addition,
9.00 am Holy Communion (3rd Sunday)
6.00 pm Worship on Sunday Evening. (2nd, 4th and 5th Sunday)

Housegroups meet on the 2nd & 4th weeks of the month, in the homes of members of the church family. A housegroup is a chance to study the bible in a small group, an opportunity to ask questions about what you read in the bible and a chance to develop closer friendships with other members of the housegroup.

Sunday mornings there are 3 age groups for children.
		Climbers: from 3 years
		Explorers: from 7 years
		Pathfinders: From starting high school.
There is a crèche for children up to 3, (the room through the door beside the hatch).

The children are in church for part of every service, this maybe at the start or part way through. 
The groups meet in rooms along the corridor for child-friendly bible teaching and activities,
appropriate to the age group.

On the 3rd Sunday of the month the service is different, on these days the children are in church
for the whole of the service, which lasts about 1 hour. Refreshments are served at the end, for everyone.

All the groups are staffed by CRB checked volunteers from the church family.
